Cook, MN (Approaching from the South): Take a Right on 2nd St SE (Highway 24). Cross the railroad tracks and make an immediate Left this is Highway 24 / Vermilion Drive. Take Highway 24 for 16 miles around the lake. Highway 24 will turn from a paved road to a gravel road during this 16 miles. Make a Right turn on Wilderness Way Road following it 2 miles always staying left until reaching the sign for 3317 Wilderness Way Road. Blue Heron is to the right.
